Yes. With the Enlighten technology, your tattoo should be completely gone after you complete the full treatment plan.

If you are prone to scarring or you keloid easily, you may have some scarring. The Enlighten technology uses an energy delivery system that minimizes heat to the outer layer of the skin and focuses the energy deeper into the ink of the tattoo. This significantly lessens the chances of scarring.

Can all colors be removed?

Yes. The Enlighten system is able to treat base black ink very effectively and has the premier technology for treating colored ink safely and effectively.

As part of our commitment to the most technologically advanced solutions available, we’re excited to offer the Medlite C6 laser system to our patients in the Canton and Brookline areas. 

The MedLite C6 laser removes ink using a specific wavelength of light which passes into the skin and is absorbed by the ink. The light energy causes the tattoo ink to break into tiny particles which can then be removed by the body's natural filtering systems. Most tattoos take anywhere from four to eight treatments, spaced out approximately six to eight weeks apart, with the exact number of treatments depending on the amount and type of ink used, as well as the depth the ink has penetrated into your skin.
