While HydraFacial is working hard to rejuvenate the outermost layers of your skin, Laser Genesis works to stimulate your body’s natural production of collagen and elastin. Our bodies make less and less of these important compounds as we age. Encouraging your body to produce more of them keeps your skin looking supple and healthy, as your skin can retain more moisture and generally maintain its attractive and youthful volume.
When your personal consultation determines that HydraGlow is the best choice to achieve your desired results, there are a few preparations you should do before your treatment:
- Refrain from waxing or using depilatories for 3 to 5 days.
- Don’t exfoliate, especially using active enzymes or serums containing glycolic acids.
- Abstain from using topical products containing retinoids—such as Retin-A—for 3 to 5 days.
- Don’t have a sunburn or rash.
- Make sure you’re well hydrated.
- Schedule your treatment at least 2 to 3 days before an important social event. There may be some mild irritation or peeling after the treatment.
