Dr. Joseph Russo is a Board Certified, Harvard-trained Plastic Surgeon who has been in private practice in Newton Centre since 1991.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (A.S.P.S.), a member of the New England Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (N.E.S.P.R.S) and a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Russo received his Medical Degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine and went on to do his General Surgery Residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and Harvard Medical School. He completed his Plastic Surgery Residence at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and Harvard Medical School.

He offers state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures and the latest in skin care treatments. He is also one of the most recognized leaders in the field of laser hair removal. Dr. Russo performs consultations, injectables and small surgeries right out of his Newton Centre office as well as cosmetic surgery at Milton Hospital.

Dr. Russo teaches classes at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Aesthetics in Woburn, MA and is the Medical Director for several area spas and salons. Dr. Russo also has a large group of nurse injectors that work as independent employees under his direction.

The doctor is the founder of the Aesthetic Institute of Massachusetts, a school to educate nurses on aesthetic injectables.

Diana graduated Bentley University with a Degree in International Business and went on to complete the executive program, as well as the advanced marketing program at Marcus Group Enterprises (MGE).

Diana served as the business director at Dream Smile Dental Companies from 2005 to 2013 until she partnered with Dr. Joseph Russo, Dr. Konstantin Ronkin and Dr. Evetta Shwartzman to create Dream Spa Medical in May of 2013. In August of 2014, the Dream Spa Medical group founded a second location in Brookline, MA. Diana is the business director and partner of both the Brookline and Canton locations.

Leah brings a lifetime of knowledge and experience in the aesthetic industry to Dream Spa Medical. She has been the catalyst in developing and procuring Dream Spa Medical’s results-based offerings as well as exceptional service and care to our patients.

Prior to becoming partner and COO, she was Dream Spa Medical’s lead clinician. In this role she created unique experiences and developed innovative treatment combinations to produce thoughtful results for her patients. These treatments later became Dream Spa Medical’s trademarked signature treatments.

Leah is dedicated to building a healthy culture and empowering every individual on our team to go above and beyond for our patients in both service, clinical outcomes and overall health and wellness. She sincerely believes in Dream Spa Medical’s goal in making people look and feel their very best. As a COO Leah ensures that Dream Spa Medical not only delivers the experience, but also provides the best possible results.

Olivia went to MCPHS University and graduated with a degree in Nutrition. She went on to receive her Aesthetics license and practiced in Southern California for 5 years. Olivia is excited to be back in Boston to continue her career as a medical aesthetician. Olivia makes strong connections with her patients and has a vested interest in helping them.

With a cosmetology license dating back to 2011, Brit transitioned from a decade-long career in the hospitality business to pursue her passion in aesthetics at Dream Spa Medical. Beyond her cosmetology foundation, Brit holds a certification in holistic wellness from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Additionally, she completed the Skin Master Class program, earning the esteemed Master of Aesthetics certificate. Brit seamlessly blends her natural ability to engage with clients and her passion for the latest skincare innovations, ensuring each experience is both personalized and exceptional. Jac attended cosmetology school all throughout highschool and then proceeded to work in that field. After about a year and a half she realized she wanted to expand into aesthetics. Jac always appreciated the science in this field and after getting her license in esthetics she continued her education at National Laser Institute to gain knowledge of the medical side of aesthetics.

After this, she worked at a laser clinic in the Back Bay area but wanted a bigger challenge. Jac was drawn to Dream Spa Medical because of the vast variety of treatments and the overall care for our clients. She says that she got into this industry to help people hold their heads a little higher and smile a little bigger.

Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in marketing from Barry University in Miami, Florida. Her fascination with makeup and skincare dates back to her childhood, and during college, she took a lash course and became certified. Alyssa aspires to obtain an aesthetician license to delve deeper into the beauty industry. Alyssa values constant learning and innovation, with the rewarding opportunity to boost individuals’ self-esteem. Her favorite aspect of her job is collaborating with a team of kind, strong, and beautiful individuals who continually learn from each other and share ideas. Alyssa is proud of leaving her hometown and moving to a new state for college, where she experienced personal growth and formed valuable connections. Alyssa chose Dream Spa Medical because of the team’s dedication to exceeding patients’ expectations and their commitment to self-improvement.

Anna has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Hospitality. She is very good with numbers and even better with people. Anna has been working at Dream Spa Medical for more than 5 years and dedicated  herself to helping build a successful practice along with all the team members here.

Anna likes working here because of the empowerment.  She appreciates women supporting each other and loves being a part of the company’s growth. She wants to remove the stigma from injectables and aesthetics in general, showing that it can be for anyone who wants to feel and look better, and not just for celebrities. Anna believes that everything is possible if you really want it and work hard to achieve it.

Nadya Zheleznyak is a Marketing Intern at Dream Spa Medical, working closely with the social media manager to develop and execute marketing strategies. Currently a full-time student at Boston University, she is pursuing a degree in Public Relations and Hospitality. She is currently enrolled in a program to receive a certification in Social Media Management from Meta. She is eager to work in an environment that allows her to apply her academic knowledge in a professional setting, gain experience, and further her skills in marketing and client relations. Nadya chose Dream Spa Medical because of its tight and supportive community and the care they provide to everyone that walks through their doors.

Lindsey graduated from Tulane University in 2016 with a BS in psychology, but always knew her true passion was skincare. After working in the tech industry for a few years she decided to follow that passion by attending Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics, completing her program in 2021. As a licensed esthetician, she now uses her education to help her client’s feel confident and enhance their natural beauty. Lindsey is committed to continuously improving her techniques and treatments to ensure her client’s get the best possible results.

Sarah Goldman is the Social Media Manager at Dream Spa Medical. She holds a BA in International Business with a minor in Spanish from Rollins College. Sarah’s interest in social media was sparked by an internship in Ireland, where she managed social media for a non-profit company. She loves the ability to connect with others through social media platforms, whether through humor or informational videos. Her most favorite segment at Dream Spa Medical is the newly added Facial Friday. Sarah chose Dream Spa Medical because of her passion for women’s confidence. 

Hailey embarked on her journey, enrolling in Aesthetic school before joining the Dream Spa Medical team. She is a Licensed Aesthetician in two states, Idaho and Massachusetts. Hailey’s personal battle with acne fueled her passion for skincare, inspiring her to help others regain their confidence. She loves the shared dedication and knowledge within the field and at Dream Spa Medical, her favorite part is the close-knit relationships with patients and colleagues. Hailey chose Dream Spa Medical because its belief in “look better, feel better” aligns perfectly with her mission, emphasizing the role of confidence in one’s overall well-being. She appreciates Dream Spa Medical’s thorough approach and commitment to helping people love how they look. 

Brigid Rolfes is a nurse at Dream Spa Medical with over 15 years of experience. Brigid graduated from Simmons College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and obtained her Master’s degree from Northeastern University in 2014. Her career includes acute care at major Boston hospitals and a focus on cardiology. She also worked in the Medicare/Medicaid industry and served as a clinical instructor. Brigid transitioned into medical aesthetics, completing courses at Aesthetic Mentor and earning certifications in neurotoxin and dermal filler procedures. Recognizing that each individual is unique, Brigid approaches her work with a commitment to personalized care, understanding that one size does not fit all. Brigid chose Dream Spa Medical because of her desire to make a meaningful impact, striving for her patients to look and feel their best!

Adia Martin is the Administrative Supervisor at Dream Spa Medical, where she blends her passion for aesthetics with her expertise in administration. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminology, and has further pursued her interest in aesthetics by attending Cosmetology school. Adia is motivated by the opportunity to help patients feel good about themselves, both through their physical appearance and their overall well-being. Her role allows her to engage in the administrative aspects of the job while ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support. Adia excels in managing data and finances, finding fulfillment in making a positive impact on patients’ lives. She values the balance Dream Spa Medical offers between medical wellness and aesthetics, appreciating the holistic approach that addresses both physical and emotional aspects of patient care.

Courtney Trufant, originally from Maine, has always had a deep passion for aesthetics and helping others look and feel their best. After earning her BSN in 2019, she spent two years working as an adult and pediatric emergency department nurse in Maine, followed by three years as an emergency department travel nurse. With a dream of becoming a nurse injector, Courtney pursued her passion and completed a 10-week Aesthetic Nurse Program through Aesthetic Mentor at Regis College.

Since joining Dream Spa Medical, Courtney has had the privilege of blending her love for anatomy with her fascination for beauty. As an Aesthetic Nurse Injector, she is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their desired results, ensuring they feel confident and radiant.

Lauren has been a nurse for over 10 years and was inducted into the International National Honor Society of Nursing in 2014. She has worked in aesthetics since 2022. After years of experience in hospital systems, Lauren became interested in expanding her skill set and providing a different, yet valuable, type of patient care. She believes that feeling confident in one’s appearance can significantly boost confidence in other areas, such as professionally, socially, and intrinsically.

Lauren’s practice philosophy is to listen more than she speaks in order to gain the best understanding of a patient’s goals. She also highly values patient education, ensuring patients know why she recommends a certain product or treatment and how it works. She strives for patients to have a thorough understanding of their treatment plan, allowing them to make informed decisions throughout their aesthetic journey. Lauren is always seeking new training opportunities to incorporate the latest technology and evidence-based practices to provide patients with the safest and most effective care possible.

Lauren designs her treatment plans around the patient’s primary goals and concerns. However, she frequently provides education on preventative maintenance to deliver the best results over the long term. She emphasizes patient education when designing a well-rounded and effective treatment plan. If a complication arises, she addresses it immediately, always prioritizing patient communication. Lauren may also consult with colleagues to provide a team-based approach to unexpected outcomes.

To promote patient safety during treatments, Lauren uses aseptic techniques first and foremost. She also provides extensive education on proper aftercare and signs of complications that require immediate evaluation. Lauren strives to check in with all patients after treatment to assess their outcomes, ensuring they feel supported. She reminds patients that she, or any of the nurses, are available in the event of a complication. If a patient has concerns or complaints about their care, Lauren listens, validates, works to rectify the problem, and strives to improve their experience under her care.

Kristen Lambert holds a BFA in Dance Performance and an Aesthetician license. Her passion for skincare and makeup led her to a career where she could help others feel their most confident and beautiful. Pursuing dance in college taught her the importance of feeling her best, and she now shares that experience by educating people about their skin’s needs. Kristen loves meeting new people along the way and helping them discover their unique beauty.

Kristen joined DSM because she wanted to be surrounded by talented, kind, and passionate professionals who genuinely care about both the field and their patients. At DSM, she has the opportunity to grow while being supported by an amazing team of experts.

David is super excited to be a part of the Dream Team as Brookline’s Scheduling Coordinator! He grew up in St. Petersburg, FL and recently graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Music Composition (Go Gators!). He recently moved to Boston to pursue a master’s in Interdisciplinary Music Studies at Berklee College. David hopes to find alignment with great people through Dream Spa by supporting the mission to help our patients feel cared for. On the side, David does professional arrangements for various a cappella groups and choirs across the country, and in his free time he loves brain-rotting reality TV. For all your scheduling needs (or if you want to gossip about Dance Moms or the Kardashians), he’s your guy!

Ashley is a driven professional with a background in Biomedical Engineering, having earned her degree from the University of Michigan. After graduation, she worked in the biotech industry for several years, gaining hands-on experience in a rapidly evolving field. Currently, Ashley is pursuing her passion for medicine by preparing for medical school, while balancing her role as an Account Manager at DSM. In addition to her professional work, she actively tutors in STEM subjects, helping others navigate the complexities of science and technology.

Originally from Denver, CO, Ashley has developed a deep appreciation for both her professional and personal communities. At DSM, she thrives in an environment filled with amazing colleagues who make every day fulfilling. She finds joy in collaborating with her team and feels grateful for the supportive and inspiring culture that surrounds her. With a strong work ethic, a love for learning, and a commitment to helping others, Ashley continues to push forward in both her career and academic pursuits.
